Skarsgard Farms

I love this idea and Skarsgard! The organic produce is always super fresh, and I appreciate the wide variety of options available, from local meals to pantry staples. It's so convenient to have everything delivered right to my door. I highly recommend Skarsgard Farms if you’re looking for quality produce, meat, meals, and other yummy findings!

Never had an issue with them, but a few months ago, I ordered burrata and they didn't have it, so I got an email saying it would be credited to a future order. I ordered a few days ago, and today I see that the credit was not applied. I emailed to have it corrected, and Jennifer emailed that I hadn't ordered it and the email was sent in error. I responded that I had ordered it previously, and it was not an error. If I'm not credited, I won't be ordering from them again. I was finally credited.

Much of the produce is fine, nothing special but okay, but cucumbers invariably get moldy within a day - it’s almost uncanny - and blueberries consistently mold within 4-5 days. Pears, on the other hand, will never ripen, lasting as rocks for weeks before collapsing into rotten mush. They don’t always deliver what you order, either - there are occasional surprises. But you can’t beat the convenience.

I started ordering from Scarsgard Farms during the pandemic. Their service and delivery was always great. As much as I want to buy local, they just went a different way in terms of their menu. They used to have all kinds of prepared meals that you could buy and supplement with their organic produce. They cut out everything prepared and as I look at their menu today it's greatly diminished from what it used to be. They have much fewer items than they once did. I can't order from them anymore. I just switched to Whole Foods because Skarsgard Farms just doesn't have any prepared food and very much of a selection. Whole Foods delivers any day of the week as well.

Ordered twice. 1st order was ok the cauliflower had black spots on it. 2nd order i emailed them still no response because i was missing my lemon and limes and the cucumbers turned bad in 2 days. I wont use them again. I order cucumbers from smiths and they were better. Hard to believe this is locally grown products.
