AWESOME experience here!! My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place and I'm glad we did! It was our first time eating Haitian food so we were excited. The woman tending to us was so sweet and explained to us our options and let us try samples. She genuinely wanted us to enjoy our meal and I felt that love from her. We ended up splitting a dinner plate with chicken, salad, plantains, rice, and mac n cheese. Everything was clearly homemade and delicious. Portions were generous and we both left full. They even made fresh cheesecake and gave us some to try, literally they were so kind! Really I only have good things to say about this place and I recommend you support their business because they were awesome and the food was of high quality!!
UPDATE: all this food lasted me three meals--two lunches, a large dinner. Also gave some of the rice to my Haitian students at school and they confirmed that it was really good Got take out. All this was $20 (I think that's a good amount of food for the price) Griot, diri kole, bannann peze, side salad, sos ti malis and a little bit of pikliz. Pork was pretty soft on the inside, nice outer texture. Could be a bit crispier but that's ok, it was still amazing. Love that they don't cut off the fat, nice and tender. Melts in your mouth Pikliz is also great, love that they keep it spicy, none of that watered down mild spice for ppl who can't handle it. Rice was als great, gave a good amount. Peas were soft, plenty of flavor. Epis they make you can tell is really good. Bannan peze was frie
I recently just started working in the area, and wanted some good Caribbean food. Annnnd baby once i stepped into this place you can smell the wholesome goodness of the food cooking. I met the owners who are a husband and wife duo. They are super friendly, and very welcoming. The portions are very generous, and very yummy. I ordered a large rice and beans and goat which was very tender.
I have been here a few times and recently ordered a catering order! The staff were amazing to work with so friendly and great at communicating. The food was delicious everyone loved. The portions were so generous. I will definitely be going back! They are always so friendly and accommodating to my children too! Great family business. 🇭🇹
Without a doubt, the best Caribbean restaurant in Boston/Somerville. The food is absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavor, and the service is excellent—everyone is friendly and attentive. Thank you for this restaurant existing. It is truly unique and different from all the others, and it makes you feel at home. Highly recommended!
