Wonderful service and delicious food! My boyfriend was thrilled with their gluten-free pasta and the fact there was also a gluten-free dessert option for him. Everything we ordered was fresh and prepared excellently. While it was busy, staff were attentive but not pushy, and we felt in no way rushed. It was our first visit but we will definitely be back!

My husband and I LOVE going to local restaurants when we travel. This place sounded like a great fit - we love Italian! We absolutely LOVED this place! Great location, friendly helpful staff, clean and inviting atmosphere, great menu, and authentic homemade delicious food! We would DEFINITELY eat here again! Highly recommend!

Hidden Gem of an Italian restaurant! Let’s start with service: Lana and Julio were absolutely the best. Quick with water, more bread, and had some great humor. Can’t ask for more. Food: Very tasty, hot, fresh, and took effort to make. The food overall was awesome, this felt close to authentic Italian without being too heavy. The fresh partisan bread was delicious and steaming hot, felt like I could taste the oven it was made in. Atmosphere: nice cozy spot, with a clean and slick interior. Loved this place. I did feel a little underdressed wearing a T-shirt and shorts after a long day of exploring DC/Arlington. They have a huge wine selection, so there's a good chance you'll find something you like. I got a bread basket that contained the best bread I've had after traveling from Boston to NYC to DC. Their house smoked salmon was an excellent starter. I got the salmon filet which was well balanced with the greens and potatoes. My gluten free girlfriend was very much excited when she received her carbonara that had gluten free spaghetti (not penne pasta like most places). My word to the wise is wear a collared shirt if it's convenient, but they won't judge either ways.

After returning to Washington DC for the second time we decided to eat at our restaurant of choice for a nice dinner. We made reservations just to be sure we would get a table, as we have found in the past the restaurant gets filled quickly for dinner and of course we arrived right at time of opening. We were again greeted as we were family and our hosts also remembered us, even after not visiting for quite a while and that is impressive. It was again a very comfortable environment, the music in the background was relaxing and set the perfect ambience. Our wonderful hosts literally remembered the wine and the beer we ordered prior to dinner the last time we were in. I was extremely impressed and felt right at home.
