I got the iced banana bread latte and Salvadoran panini. I paid $17 with tip for both. I waited around 10 minutes for my food. A little pricey, but happy to support a locally owned business. :) The panini was very small, but it was really good! The person taking my order specifically double checked if I wanted it spicy or not. I wasn’t that big of a fan of my latte, based on my own beverage preference, but it was very well made! The staff were all extremely friendly and kind! Lots of seating available for single people or medium sized groups. They have lots of drink and dessert options! Specifically stated on their menu board that they are not nut or gluten free. I will be back to try more things. :)

Such chill vibes! Everyone who works there super sweet and nice! And great menu can't wait to taste more because the coffee!! Ummmmmmm so yummy great flavor and the coffee wasn't burnt or bitter and not too sweet! And the Palestinian panini was just so yummy juicy acidic, healthy and flavorful ❤️❤️❤️ and the fact that it closes late!!! Might become my go to! And overall great place to do homework or work with a lot of space and people!!! Highly recommend! Also the price isn't over priced which is perfect with the spot it is!

I was so excited when I heard there was new small business coffee shop opening on campus! So far I've been there twice and both experiences have been really well. They've decorated the place wonderfully and even provide a prayer area! It's a cozy spot especially for this upcoming winter. Some things I got were the carrot cake latte the first time and then the pistachio latte the second. Personally I favor the pistachio but if you love sweeter lattes go for the carrot cake latte. I also got both panini sandwiches and preferred the Salvadorian panini as it had a little kick. Sip of Silk is definitely spot I'd check out again!

Sip of Silk Cafe near the U of M is an absolute gem and a must-visit. It perfectly blends excellent drinks with a unique cultural atmosphere! -Exceptional Coffee & Cappuccino: The coffee base is top-tier, and the cappuccino was flawless—rich, smooth, and expertly crafted. -Unique Cultural Drinks: Don't leave without trying the Horchato de Morro. This traditional El Salvadoran drink is refreshing, authentic, and unlike any other horchata in the area. -Amazing Environment: The cafe's atmosphere is wonderfully welcoming and inspiring. It beautifully symbolizes the blend of El Salvadorian and Palestinian cultures, creating a meaningful space that feels like a true community hub near campus.
