We’ve been driving back-and-forth past his place for years. This year we saw a billboard while we were looking for a lunch place and decided to stop. Brady was excellent, greeting us, taking our order and overall service. The restaurant was adorable with all the Christmas decor. The hush puppies are the best I’ve ever had!! We really enjoyed our large grilled shrimp Me with fried Okra and mac & cheese. The brisket sandwich was also very good, and the large fried oyster platter. My husband greatly enjoyed! All the pies are homemade and I really liked my pecan pie! There was outside seating area, to go area, a clean bathroom and overall great friendly, southern hospitality. If you have a chance to stop here, I highly recommend SSK. I’m sure you really enjoy it!!

I go here every Tuesday or Wednesday after I drop my daughter's off at cheerleading. Foods always On point and filling. Service is great and they have beer!

Very good food! Service was pretty good (it was busy) and it's a small, simple restaurant, but everything is very clean and attractive. The prime rib (Friday night special) was delicious; house salad was real greens not iceberg lettuce; fried pickles were scrumptious; fried okra still looks and tastes like okra, not just a wad of breading; fried pork chop was excellent, as was the BBQ. We ended up having enough leftovers (with an additional house salad) for another meal!

Great place off the main road. Cozy restaurant. Staff is accommodating and food was good. Some of the crispiest chicken I've had in a while.

Young lady working at the front desk was really nice and friendly. The food was good. I really enjoyed the BBQ sandwich and baked beans. My wife and daughters enjoyed the fried chicken and the sides we ordered for them. We ordered the kids chicken tenders but they were a bit too spicy and the texture didn't seem too tasty and or fried. We had to throw away the chicken tenders.
