Simply Divine Events & Lodging

We stayed one night in November 2025. This is a small inn which is managed very adeptly by its owner. Having stayed in at least 30 b&b;s in the US we have found that owner involvement makes for a better experience. Of the many such inns we have stayed in this one is in the TOP ECHELON in terms of character, condition, cleanliness and elegance. The room was beautiful as were the common areas. The breakfast was outstanding, carefully prepared by the owner himself. Friendly place, fabulous elegant mansion. It's funny, we stayed in 3 B&B's on this trip in NC and all three charged about the same (~150), but this one stood far above the crowd.

We viewed this lovely home online, then drove over and walked the outside of the property, as the owners were not available during the time we were there. (No problem; the owners were most gracious.) This is a lovely home, and the homes around it are similar in style, creating a beautiful venue. The one concern; the entire property has broken concrete walkways and driveway, which is of concern for the safety of guests. This may be something to consider for disabled guests, women in heels, or for very young children who might run around. The venue offers a spacious front yard which would be lovely for a ceremony or mingling. Very pretty property.

Patti and Alan were wonderful hosts! Very personable and welcoming. The home is beautiful. My bed was very comfortable and the breakfast and coffee is wonderful. There's a nice coffee bar and a small refrigerator there so you can have coffee whenever you would like. I hope to be back when I'm down South again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Simply Divine Bed & Breakfast! The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast each morning was delicious. They even adjusted their menu to accommodate my mother-in-law, who is restricted to a gluten-free diet. We would definitely stay there again if ever in the Dunn, NC area.

I stayed at Simply Divine in late March on my way to Florida. What a beautiful place! The hosts are wonderful! I had my pick of rooms and breakfast was outstanding! I will definitely be staying there again.
