Omg this item is a hit. It was worth the wait. So nice to see this restaurant try something new. And people are going crazy for it. The paper bag fried rice. I absolutely loved it and portion is big too

I tried the paper bag fried rice at Simply Caribbean on Walkway Blvd. in Queens, and it honestly brought me back home. I remember being in Guyana for a cricket match and traveling through Berbice, stopping by friends and grabbing paper bag fried rice on the road. That style of cooking sticks with you — simple, sealed, and full of flavor. Simply Caribbean doesn’t try to recreate it exactly, but they clearly understand the Guyanese-Chinese influence behind it, and it comes through in the taste. There’s something very nostalgic about it — the aroma, the depth, the way the flavors come together. It feels familiar in the best way, like something you grew up eating or discovered back home and never forgot. It’s a thoughtful addition to their menu and definitely worth trying if you appreciate

I AIN'T GONNA LIE BUT I HAVE TO SAY MY FIRST TIME BUYING FOOD HERE I WAS NERVOUS BUT THE LONG WAIT PAID OFF I REALLY ENJOYED EVERY BITE TASTE WAS DEFINITELY A 10 ,SERVICE WAS ON POINT ,NOW IVE BEEN ORDERING THERE NOW ITS MY THIRD TIME ,SO U ALL KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK OK BEST GUYANESE PAPER BAG FOOD AND I WILL ONLY BUY HERE NO WHERE ELSE...AND JUST BEST FOOD OVERALL..

The Chowmein/fried rice with the chicken was all amazing I absolutely loved it! and would definitely recommend. The wait is long yes because it’s in high demand which is understandable because it’s totally worth it!
