Simmons-Bond Inn Bed & Breakfast

I spent a great weekend there. I had the Tiffany room. The meals were superb, the hosts were wonderfully sweet and attentive. The ambiance of the house made you feel like you were back at the turn of the 20th century -- the tall staircase, the elegant stained-glass windows, the fireplace in every room, the decorations, and the furniture. I loved how the shops and the military museum were in walking distance. It had been a long time since I had a little weekend getaway, and this was the perfect place to stay.

Simmons-Bond Inn B&B is a wonderful bed & breakfast. Bella, the innkeeper, is fantastic and makes an outstanding breakfast. She shared history of the house (the house is exceptional with many original pieces and other antiques), provided information for local sites, and made us feel welcome. Very comfortable, quiet stay. Highly recommend.

Bella and Shane were incredible. We were running 3 hours late of scheduled checkin due to stopping to see an old friend in route and Bella called to make sure everything was ok. Once we arrived Bella showed us around, talked about the history and Shane helped carry our luggage to the room. We booked the Elizabeth and loved it! It’s in a great location, parking is included and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Our room was comfortable, clean and we enjoyed Christmas decorations. The breakfast; wow! Delicious and a great learning experience for us. Bella made and served breakfast and explained each course. We plan on returning to Toccoa and hopefully can get a room again at the Simmons-Bond, they only have 5. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing Mom's weekend getaway for my birthday! Bella was an amazing host and chef! The breakfasts were amazing and she was so kind. Would absolutely love to come back! The Tiffany room was gorgeous!

I went to Toccoa for my SCHS Class of '65 Reunion, and stayed for two nights at the beautifully restored Simmons-Bond Inn Bed and Breakfast. I chose the smallest room, since I was traveling alone. I always admired this house when I was growing up in Stephens County (Martin), but had never been inside. It is beautifully restored and was very comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing. I met two couples and enjoyed both meals and conversation with them. Bella was an amazing hostess, and we will go back.
