Silver Star Diner

Amazing customer service the waitress was super attentive and the food of course is 5 stars. If you're in town it's absolutely worth the time and money to stop and eat. The owners are on-site and always willing to make anything special just the way you like it. No cookie cutter cooking here everything is made fresh to order and you can have it made any way you choose. You want an ingredient added they'll add it. You don't want something in it they won't make it with it. And the desserts was just say you better leave room for dessert. They're worth definitely bringing home if you didn't save room. Next time in town I will definitely be back. I don't know what they put in their hot shot but it's liquid gold, Personally I liked it better than the coffee.

Recommended by my golf playing partner, I had lunch at the Silver Star and am so glad I did! If you follow my reviews at all, you know I am all about the burger! And I love diners, especially the retro ones! American cuisine at its finest. I got the 1/2 pound angus burger with bacon and fries. Yes, it was a lot of food, but I was equal to the challenge! Everything was delicious, the service was fast and friendly, and the prices comparable for the area.

This place is my favorite in town fast service & delicious food. Value for money. Everything tastes like the good old days. You can choose this diner with peace of mind.

Stopped in after a visit to the area (had been here once before and the food was good) and decided to give it another try. One server, Liz, I believe was her name, waited on us and the kids. She was incredibly warm and welcoming. Not everyone has to go the extra mile and honestly feel it was out of genuine kindness. The food was again good, but the service was exceptional.

From the moment we walked in, the service was spectacular. I went in first to our table, and when my family came in, the person who greeted us shook my husband's hand and welcomed him. Then, the waitress Isabel—I'd give her a 1000/1000—made us have a wonderful time. If you asked me if I would return, I would say that every time I visit CT, I would stop by to eat there with my family.
