We enjoyed an overnight stay here on our way from the coast to Baxter State Park. The Inn is in a beautiful setting and the hosts were wonderful. We were hoping to kayak but the weather didn't cooperate so we had a nice walk around the grounds instead. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The hosts served up a hearty, and delicious breakfast in the morning and we had some very pleasant conversations with them.
We stayed in the family room with the bunk beds/balcony. It was lovely. Kathie and John are super sweet and will help you with anything you need. Beautiful bed and breakfast. Such a cozy home feeling. The provided breakfast was soo delicious. We will definitely be returning next time we come back to Maine.
A lovely 2-night stay! Kathi and John are kind and welcoming, accommodating and friendly! They wanted to make sure all my needs were met, which they were, and they made my stay comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, the lake was peaceful and serene and being in the woods made it that much more enjoyable. If you're looking for a place to stay in the Lee / Lincoln area, this is the place.
This place is simply beautiful! Kathie and John are lovely and extremely accommodating. The homemade breakfast is delicious and is made daily. The choices are varied offering homemade muffins, waffles, or pancakes, eggs-made to order, sausage, pancakes, bacon, fresh berries yogurt and granola, and juice. A coffee/hot chocolate bar keurig is set up in a common area for those of us who love coffee! The property is clean and very homey. The rooms are on the second floor with nice wide staircases. There are several common areas to play games, read etc. Their 2 dogs, Odie and Shera (unsure of the correct spelling) are beautiful and sweet. They barked on arrival, not knowing us, but immediately warmed up to us and were quite friendly! They offer canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, campfires and natu
If I could leave more than five stars, I would. The Silverlake Inn was life-changing, quite literally. The hospitality is out of this world, John and Kathy Are amongst the nicest people to walk this earth. From the bottom of my heart, I just wanna say thank you so much for everything you guys did for me and my wife on our honeymoon. I remember pulling in about 1 AM and it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, We have the windows down in my truck. It’s a nice breeze, pulling across the lake. And the view was immaculate. You could nearly see the star is reflecting off the crystal clear spring fed lake with the lights on the dark shimmering in the ripples. And right in front of you as you pull down the road Stand the beautiful, two story, log cabin, secluded from surroundings. It was truly
