We stopped in for lunch and a little nostalgia. My husband grew up in the area, and we both have fond memories of visiting the saloon often over 25 years ago when we lived nearby. We seated ourselves and were promptly greeted for lunch service. We started with a cold beer and Lil's Lawful Lemonade — I highly recommend the Lemonade! It was refreshing and delicious. For lunch, we ordered the Reuben with sweet potato fries and the Western Burger with house-made chips. Both dishes were fantastic! The corned beef on the Reuben was incredibly tender, and everything was full of flavor. It was such a fun trip down memory lane, and the food and service made it even more special. We’re so glad we stopped in and absolutely recommend a visit!
This is a great historical site with lots of information on the outside around the building as well as an authentic feel of the Wild West on the inside. There is seating outside on a patio as well as video games for kids to play. The staff are friendly. The lemonade was refreshing and most burgers are huge! The pickle fries were tasty but were dripping with oil. Highly recommend.
Good size portions. Roomy, nice bar. Had chili cheese fries, chopped wedge salad, clam chowder and garlic bread. They had a great brunch set up. We didn't have the brunch but it was very good and a lot of food
A truly atmospheric place with the spirit of the Gold Rush era. Authentic food and historic charm make it a must-visit spot in Marysville.
This will be the most extensive review I have ever done. This place is beyond awesome! Joe the proprietor is such a good man. He is polite, kind, congenial, and has the best energy! The rib eye was out of this world! The quality of the cut was stupendous. Chef's Kiss! The flavor of the meat still makes my mouth water. The tri tip was tender and succulent. The fried pickles were cooked perfectly. The wedge salad was gigantic and the homemade ranch was the topper. The history of this amazing location is also not to be missed. The first Saturday of every month they have a historian provide a guided tour. Joe was gracious enough to allow my wife and I access up to the top floor where they have an amazing space for private parties. This place is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The hospitality, the atmosphere, an
