Silver Beach Resort and Restaurant

The owner, Jermey’s, attitude in response to bad reviews is extremely telling. The staff is rude and unprofessional. The cleanliness of the rentals and kitchen is daunting. There's mold up and down the cabin walls, a leaking water heater was ignored for over a year (the previous tenants were friends of mine, confirmed it was leaking throughout two seasons), and mouse droppings and stains cover the bottom of the RVs. Their pricing/policies, which they claim to be strict on, are frankly shady. I’ve never left a bad review before; I don’t take the decision lightly, especially considering it’s a small business, but Silverbeach reached a point so low it’s truly a health concern. I have stayed here in the past and it was great, Not so much this time. Could not close the bathroom sliding door it was off the hinges. Locks did not work on the doors and were covered by duct tape. Housekeeping needs to do a better job at cleaning way too many cobwebs. I sent an email and the response I received from Shar was I have addressed this with housekeeping and maintenance. Would have been nice for her to mention sorry your stay wasn't as nice as before but it's obvious they don't care. Please stay elsewhere and don't waste your money.

This area is always gorgeous, it is perfect for camping and for just going up for a lunch and looking at some beautiful trees in the lake. The dam doesn’t open until later in the season so during the summer, the lake will be a lot less than it usually is, but it is still definitely worth the trip. The restaurant is simple but serves a lot of really good things and our favorite is the grilled cheese and chicken tenders with flavored Red Bull.

Stayed here to visit white pass with the family and it was better than we expected. They were super accommodating. We are definitely going to visit come summer.

Rough around the edges, snug camp sites, and a dust bowl in late August. We won’t be back. Pulling into the “resort” you can tell it’s rough around the edges. The check-in process for camping was done not in the Office, but in the Resort. That check-in required withstanding a very strong sewage smell. With campsite tag in hand, we moved to our side (#29). While a convenient pull-thru site, it was not level. If you’re a tent camper it’ll be fine, our 24’ trailer would have preferred flat ground. Stepping out of the truck we began our dusty-filled weekend. At no point over the next 3 days were we clean. The “lake” was 0.2mi walk as it was dried up.
