Silk Way

We are staying in Philly for almost a month now and really missed home made food. This is the right place if you want something delicious. It was my first time trying mampar soup and loved it so much that when we went back to this restaurant I ordered it again ☺️ I recommend lagman soup too (it comes with hand pooled noodles) and nomad bread with any order (lepyoshka in Russian). Authentic central Asian food and great service. Highly recommend. Best if you come here with uber or taxi, street parking is limited. Walking distance from Liberty Bell Center if you’re here as a tourist!

This place is something really special in my heart. We just celebrated my hubby bday here and it was full of wonderful dishes and vibes. If you wanna try authentic and delicious Kazakh and Central Asian cuisine, this is must go! We even took some food to go, since we are from Upstate NY, I really wanted to take some home with us. We had an amazing experience at Silk way. Home vibes with hearty food. We ordered a lot of dishes for family style sharing. Staff were very nice and helpful with explanation about food and ingredients. We will definitely come back. This was a feast of flavors.

This place is amazing! Food is all homemade with love. Hospitality is also top notch. If you haven’t tried Kazakh/ Central Asian food yet, this is the place to try. You will not regret it. Beshbarmak and lagman are highly recommended . The noodles are handmade fresh in house. I will definitely come back for more. Thank you guys!

Love this place with its authentic Silk Route dishes from the countries it crosses. It is completely family run and it shows in the food! Great vegetarian and gluten free option. The bread balls are magical. Thank you! We will be back :)
