It’s a small restaurant with terrible & food. I ordered the griot & fried plantains and the meat was mostly bones and fat & bunch of small burnt hard pieces. The pieces of plantains are HUGE & are not cooked all the way through. The sauce they give you has a thick layer of oil on top. Probably the worst Haitian food I’ve had. This coming from an actual Haitian.
The food was amazing 🤩, well done guys thank you! The owner he is pretty cool we crack jokes every time. The price is ok case one plate I got was for 18 and I was able to eat with my cousin and belly was full 🌝 we had chicken and riceand beans. And 4 pieces marinade for 6 . So good with the mabii drink.
We had an amazing experience at this place last weekend. We all went there as a group of friends last Saturday and the whole group could not stop talking about the food for a whole week!!! Our favorite was the pate kòde, hands down the best I’ve ever had in the states!!!!! I also had some lalo but it was a little bitter, hopefuly they fix it after. My husband had the turkey tassot as a fritay platter and it was delicious!!!! My son had the diri kole and ate the whole bowl by himself. The rice is soooo good, don’t even need any gravy to eat with it! The sos pwa was delicious as well! Our friend had the kabrit (goat) and it was also delicious!!! Finally, the customer service was great and the owner is supper sweet and patient. I just found my new favorite restaurant in the area, can’t wait t
Good food and recipes, very delicious and well prepared. I had sauteed Red Snapper and baked macaroni with plantains.
had a really disappointing experience here. The pricing doesn’t match what it should be when you actually calculate the items yourself from the menu. The total ends up being much higher, which makes it feel like customers are being overcharged for food that already isn’t cheap. Charging people over $60 for food that doesn’t even add up to that amount is crazy. On top of that, the customer service is very poor. The owner is unfriendly and comes off as disrespectful. There’s no greeting when you walk in, no basic politeness, and at one point he walked past me and almost pushed me out of the way without even saying excuse me. The whole environment feels very unwelcoming and uncomfortable. If you’re going to charge people that much for food, at least have better customer service and treat cust
