Sidecar Restaurant & Bar

This little gem is in the Tapestry hotel in Montgomery. Casual but good diner style food. We were pleasantly surprised. Big portions, even the appetizers. Fish and chips were very good. Hubby got the short ribs and they were tender and good as well. Bread pudding for dessert and we left full and satisfied.

This is a great restaurant and bar. Good food, great drinks, and very nostalgic and elevated decor. I recommend the smoked sidecar Old Fashioned and Parker House Rolls

I had a great dinner here, the Sriracha Teriyaki Steak. It was cooked to perfection and darn right delicious. Service was super friendly, and professional. I got good recommendations from the bartenders. They have a week day happy hour, 4pm-7pm.

I’ve had an amazing experience every time I’ve been here. The staff is friendly, personable, and overall amazing. And it helps that the food and drinks are also fantastic. This restaurant is a “can’t miss” when you’re in the Montgomery area.

We had the burger/onion rings and short rib. The food was generally underseasoned, and the burger was somewhat undercooked, and the short rib was luke warm. I don’t think it would take much to make these items pretty solid menu items. We also had two cocktails that were creative and very enjoyable. They were on the pricey side, however….about $16 each. The staff were very customer focused…friendly, eager to provide good service. It’s a new place and I think it has some good potential to improve. Hopefully a few more weeks of experience will give them time to fix a few of their shortcomings.
