What a charming deli! I had the most delicious roast beef sandwich imaginable - the Lynnwood with horseradish! Yummmm 😋😋😋 I enjoyed it at a picnic at Tusocogee Airmen Memorial, but the ambiance in the deli was so welcoming, I would have enjoyed dining in as well. Plenty of leftovers to enjoy later too!
Whenever we drive through Walterboro around lunchtime we stop in. Everything is 5 star - the food, the service, the ambiance. We love it! The daily soup is incredible and obviously home made. Tomato basil is to die for. We especially like their chicken salad sandwich, the Colleton. The staff is very helpful and go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is perfect. Memorable and a must stop.
We stopped here on our way north from Florida. It is a quick trip from 95 and definitely worth it. We had The Lucas, The Ravenwood, and The Wichman and each sandwich was very good. Very nice quality meat and bread and the potato salad really is good. Friendly staff, too. We will be back on other trips!
What a delightful, nostalgic and lovely place! I often travel through Walterboro and will now make this one of my regular stops! The food is delicious, (excellent potato salad and sandwiches) the people and friendly service reminds one of what restaurants used to be like, and the buiding is respectful of it's heritage and well restored!
The food here is outrageously good. Had the Ivanhoe sandwich and loved it. Secretly some of the best potato salad in Walterboro. Really nice staff and a good spot for lunch
