A small, cozy, but seriously high quality Sichuan spot. The owners are from Chengdu and you can tell they know how to make authentic Sichuan dishes. I came on Chinese New Year’s day today, and they hosted our large group of 12 people no problem They were so sweet to us and even gave us a free dessert at the end. Just great service and welcoming atmosphere. Some stand out dishes - The chefs special vegetable combo 沸腾小炒 delicate fried taro strands with other veggies and pine nuts - Mapo Tofu 麻婆豆腐 - Lamb in Cumin Sauce 孜然羊肉 - Eggplant in garlic sauce 鱼香茄子 - Pork shoulder special dish (had to order one day in advance) - Osmanthus glutinous rice dessert - so fragrant and delicious We will definitely be back!

Stumbled upon an authentic Sichuan restaurant in San Francisco — the décor feels nostalgic yet clean and cozy. The moment the pot arrived, it filled the air with incredible aroma! I ordered their signature “Boiled Fish in Chili Broth” — perfectly spicy, fragrant, and flavorful. The heat was just right, and it truly warmed me up inside. The owner and staff were super friendly, giving me that comforting feeling of dining back home ❤️

We had visitors from Canada who loved Chinese food. We searched for a Chinese restaurant and we found Sichuan Home with good reviews, but the restaurant opens at 5pm. It was 3pm when we felt hungry for lunch. We searched more for a different Chinese restaurant. None of the others had good reviews or the type of Chinese we were looking for. So, we decided to do another activity and wait till 5pm to eat at this restaurant. We finally sat down inside. The menu had good selection. The menu also was neatly categorized with the type of dishes. We had 4 main dishes: Lamb, chicken in Sichuan pepper, spicy fish and herb spice , and a vegetarian option called Dry mushroom. This place is great. I stumbled into the place just walking by and smelled the food. Very attentive service and friendly staff. The pork dumplings were great. Best Asian food I've had in awhile. I will definitely be back!

We ordered the Lamb in Cumin Sauce and the Chongqing Style Spicy Chicken. The lamb was the highlight. It was cooked in a delicate, well-balanced sauce with plenty of sautéed onions, flavorful without being overly spicy. That said, the cut of lamb was disappointing largely fatty and not what I’d consider good-quality meat, which took away from an otherwise well-executed dish. The Chongqing Style Spicy Chicken was just okay. It wasn’t particularly spicy and came across more like seasoned chicken nuggets. It tasted fine but felt generic and lacked distinction. Overall, I enjoyed the flavors, but the quality did not justify the price point of the dishes.
