Sibley's Bar-B-Q

Dined here earlier this month (2/06) with my significant other. We’ve always wanted to try Sibley’s. We drive by it all the time here on Iron Bridge Road. After the ice from this month’s snow storm started to melt away, we figured it was a good time to finally check it out. The decor and atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a BBQ place, very homey and welcoming. Our server was very nice and attentive throughout our entire stay. I ordered the Souther Fried Pork Chop platter with string beans/tomatoes and mac & cheese, it even included a side of hushpuppies, and the missus got the Pulled Chicken Sandwich with baked beans and fries. We both enjoyed our plates, and feel that the portions were appropriately priced. 10/10 would recommend.

Me and my family were here from florida and when I tell you i’ve never had bbq so good! (We eat bbq often) The meat was tender, best onion rings i’ve had (i’m serious), the mac and cheese was flavorful. Our server was great, didn’t have to ask for refills when the drinks got low & another server even gave our 2 toddlers an ice cream sandwich cookie for free! We paid $50 for 2 adult meals with 2 sides each and a drink each, a kids meal with a drink, an additional kids drink & an apple cobbler dessert with ice cream. Well worth it, wish this was in Florida!!

Sibley’s BBQ is a flavor-packed gem that serves up Southern comfort with serious skill. We kicked things off with the hot honey wings appetizer—easily one of the highlights of the night. They were sticky, sweet, with just the right kick of spice to keep you reaching for another. Perfectly cooked and glazed to perfection. The rib platter was fall-off-the-bone tender and deeply flavorful, while the pulled pork was soft, juicy, and full of smoky goodness. Every bite felt like a hug from the pitmaster himself. The portion sizes here are no joke. We left with a mountain of leftovers that somehow tasted even better the next day. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, we were talked into the cobbler dessert. Let’s just say it made me reconsider everything I thought I knew about

My family and I have drove past this restaurant for years, and we finally decided to give it a try a few days ago. The staff were very nice but the food was ehhh. The Mac and Cheese tasted boxed, and had an Alfredo like texture. The pulled pork sandwich was also ehhh, the bun and meat were bland. The sandwich also wasn’t very hot and seemed like it had been sitting out for a long time. I never add sauce to my pulled pork but I put a lot on there!! The sauces were actually pretty solid. The fries were probably the best part, they were very crunchy but didn’t have any seasoning. (not even salt or pepper) The fries could be amazing if they had flavor. A great selection of main courses and sides, reasonable portions and prices. We each ordered the 1/2 rack ribs with hush puppies and two sides. Ribs fell off the bone and I had to order an extra side of mac & cheese after we started our meal because my dinner mate kept eating all of mine! I look forward to visiting again and trying the catfish and pulled pork BBQ sandwich. The staff was super friendly and attentive and our meal came to the table quickly.
