Shyer’s Lobster Pound

Have been coming here for years, never again. My husband and myself went on Christmas Eve day to purchase 2 3lb lobsters, scallops, cod and lobster tails. Went home, put the lobsters directly in the fridge. Never even opened the bag, cause why would we? We have been there many, many times over the past 10 years and never had a problem. When it came time to cook, one of the lobsters was dead. Went back today to just get a new one. My husband went in first, thinking it would be an even exchange, no big deal. He was met by a woman who from the start got defensive. Told my husband “What do you want me to do with it?” Then told my husband, “YOU HAVE 3 DAYS TO EAT A DEAD LOBSTER.” That is probably the most irresponsible thing I’ve ever heard. And honestly, makes me question their qualit

sell undercooked 4 pound lobster for 67 dollars open it and it was like cottage cheese said was supposed to be like that read online that lobster was probably dead when they cooked it or near dead and could be poisonous to eat only refunded 33 dollars out of 67 and she kept the lobster meat I have pictures of the cottage cheese she said is normal 8.9 ounces of meat out of a 4 pound lobster we go there atleast 5 times a year and that's how she treats her customers will not return

Bought a 7.25 pound lobster for my husbands 60th birthday. The meat only weighed 14.9 oz . Not even a pound! Called Shyers to complain and they said sorry and hung up. Didn't even try to make it right. I read that if the lobster is left in the tank and not fed it will live off itself and slowly starve itself. We bought the same size lobster before from Walmart and it took us a week to eat it all. Very sad and disappointed in Shyers.

I place an order for 10 two lb lobsters and 20 lbs of steamers and I ask if the steamers were small and the guy that took my order said he had small ones. I went to pick them up yesterday. When I saw the clams I said to the lady I really am not happy with the clams because of the sizes of the clams were big and I ordered small clams. She started yelling at me and said well don’t take them. I said too her why are you yelling at me and she said I picked them myself. Well you are an horrible human to treat customers the way you do.Easier said than done. 7.99 a lb I must of thrown 4 lbs of smashed clams away there was rocks and empty shells inside and about 3 lbs of sand. They where so sandy they where the worst clams I ever had 160.00 down the drain. Horrible experience will never return.
