Shun Xing

This review is for Shun Xing II. One of the worst Chinese food establishments I've ever been to in NC! Sadly, it was highly recommended to me and I'm puzzled as to why based on my food experience. The General Tso chicken was a flavor that I've never tasted before in my life and it was absolutely disgusting. All the rest of our large order of items were bland. This place may have authentic looking photos of the food, but it is by far from authentic Chinese food.. I will never be back or recommend.

EVERYTHING was fantastic! Combination orders: Broccoli beef, they don't smother it with sauce, it's good but strong, it doesn't need that much because its great, not over cooked Broccoli or carrots and beef is sooooo tender. I'll order easy on the sauce next time. Comes with pork fried rice that is also fantastic not greasy and came with a role that is very large, look at the picture, alittle greasy but most are, it wasn't overy greasy. I loved it all. Husband had sweet n sour chicken, he got hot n sour soup n he said it's very good with a lot of veggies. Also came with roll again great, look at picture, it has soo much meat, not filled with veggies with specks of meat, it had MEAT!

Used to be really good, but last two times it has been awful. Seems like they are reheating the food in the microwave, the General Tso chicken is absolute mush. Even worse, found a hair in my chicken and Im pretty sure it's dog hair.

The food is delicious! I recommend it to everyone; go visit and try your favorite dishes.

Have been here twice with the husband and we loved it. Veggie LoMein, cheese wonton & egg rolls were all delicious. Will definitely be back when we are in town. Update: Have been several more times & it has been constantly good. The dinner combinations r a great deal and the service is awesome. Placed online order & asked my lo mein to be package separately from my chicken which they did then lady at counter pulled everything out to make sure the kitchen had done so.
