Shucks Fish House & Oyster Bar

I went here last night for my birthday and for Shrimpfest. The outside might not be the most appealing, but the food really makes up for it. I got the fried shrimp and the shrimp scampi. They were both delicious! The food was nice and hot, and the service was fantastic. And the apple pie was fresh, warm, and I'm guessing homemade. Sam was especially great. She was pleasant and helpful. Also, if you want crayons to draw on the table you may have to ask. 😉

Highly recommend this place!! I asked the waitress about suggesting a raw oyster for me...ive never had them. She gave me 1 to try. I baught one of all 5 types they had to try them. I loved them all the prices seem high to me to portion sizes. I got the haddock dinner. For the price... not worth the amount of fish i got. The slaw, sadly was sub par in flavor. Not sure of the oyster prices... so can't comment on their prices. I wanted to try them... so i got them. Ill definitely go back for oysters and try something different from the menu. Partly, im just not used to big city pricing.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great Gluten-free options! The service was fast. If you have someone in your group that is Gluten-free this is a great place to go as most options can be made GF.

I have gluten sensitivity so I am always on the lookout for places with a GF menu. Shucks did not disappoint! They have a long list of items that can be made GF. I enjoyed haddock, fried shrimp, and Shuck puppies … all delicious!

Hello I just left shucks, down on Leavenworth Street. My son and I had the most best experience from the waiter to the atmosphere. We just felt very comfortable there and welcome there. I told Man we will be back if I was rating you from 1 to 10 I will give you a 12. Thank you for a wonderful eating experience. Thank you you have a good day.
