SHUCKS!

Absolutely fantastic spot for great seafood and drinks! Their white chocolate bread pudding was some of the best me and my family have ever had! The owner was so nice and friendly! Felt like family from the great southern hospitality experienced here! Definitely go to Shucks! if you’re visiting or live in the area!

The exterior and surroundings were nice. I ordered a dozen raw oysters and the Shucked Margarita that was mixed with Hornitos. The service was good, including the hostess. They have outdoor seating with the view of the bayou. I'll be back to try more food.

We stayed in Abbeville for one night and stopped at Shucks for dinner. It is a lively, happy atmosphere filled with locals (a good sign!) having a great time. The staff and owner are very gracious. I had the charbroiled oysters, they were cooked just right and were very tasty and quite large. My husband had to try the local crawdads and he ate 3lbs! He loved the flavor and how they were seasoned. As we left (on a Saturday night) live music was being played in there outdoor space. Thank you Shucks!

Sat outside with our 3 kids, it was hot but that's southern Louisiana and we had a good time! Oysters were the best charbroiled I've had and I really enjoyed the seafood pasta and gator bites. My wife had the flounder and she enjoyed it. We will definitively be going back for more oysters and seafood!

I will Definitely recommend going to Shucks. The food and service was outstanding- thank you, Braelynn,- great job. To start we ordered the super sampler of oysters- Very good! Then, crab claws had 1/2 fried and 1/2 grilled - the fried ones were good, but we all Loved the grilled ones. For entrees Ordered grouper, fried seafood platter, grilled shrimp- Delicious! Also got the bread pudding to take home,it was also delicious. We Enjoyed all the food we ate and the wonderful service.
