Show Low Public Library

The Show Low public library is a beautiful, welcoming facility for readers of all ages. The building has won awards for its spacious, open, light filled architecture. I especially love the lobby area because I bring my lunch to the library. There is comfortable seating in the lobby. Food and drinks are not allowed in the library, but are permitted in the lobby area. The air-conditioning is powerful. If you are sensitive to the cold you might need a sweater, even in the summer. The library is especially popular with children. There are all kinds of fun activities for the little ones. There is even a well equipped playground just outside the library doors for kids who are tired of reading and want to play. The people are always helpful and friendly. Bryce helped me with the computers to print papers and fax as well. Show Low has a wonderful Library and great place to relax and read a book.

Let me just say, I'm a little biased because I almost always love libraries. What can I say? I love free Wifi and books! However, this library will provide great help if you ask them a specific question. Usually they know what to do and where to go for things that any person would need, so that's very useful. They also have all kinds of events, every day or every week. They also have fun stuff for kids during the summer. They have Yoga, Book Clubs, and Holiday gatherings! They even have events for the more obscure holidays, like May the Fourth "Be with you!" (A play on "May the force be with you!" from the Star Wars Series of media) and other holidays. Come on by and see what they have to do, see and read! You'll likely find what you are interested in here.

I do not live in Show Low but visit the area every summer and enjoy the library. This summer I needed some assistance getting something printed and Kerri went out of her way to assist me as I could not remember my email password. She went above and beyond and was very patient while helping me.

Children’s section is really cute - picture books are at toddler height which is nice!
