Ice cream and the beach go hand in hand... especially when the day is coming to an end and you need just a little pinch of sweetness. 🍦 You have 2 options here at Shoobies... 1️⃣ Soft serve (4 flavors) and diy toppings to weigh your creation & pay. 2️⃣ Hard ice cream in cups or cones INCLUDING waffle cones (my fav). We went the hard ice cream route and, of course, we had to try a few before deciding since there are so many great options! 🍦 My husband had the Cappuccino Crunch and it was the perfect amount of sweetness paired with chocolate swirls and a little bit of candy crunch. 🍦 I had the Caramel Cheesecake Cookie Monster which was also a great mix of flavors. The cheesecake chunks were my favorite part! The prices are fair and the service is friendly, even with a line out the door! S

Shoobies is the perfect ice cream stop after a beach day on Folly! The shop has that classic boardwalk vibe — bright, fun, and super friendly service. They’ve got a great mix of flavors (the cookies & cream and butter pecan were awesome!) and plenty of toppings to make it your own. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and it’s just steps from the sand. Definitely worth the stop if you’re walking down Center Street! 🍦🌴

This place is so good that we've been here twice for dessert in the 4:days we've been in Folly Beach. I decent selection of ice, frozen and soft serve, is available. Milkshakes can be made from any flavor you choose. The waffle cones are hand made on site, giving a great aroma when you walk in the door. Highly recommend this place to get your ice cream fix!

Great ice cream. We sat out front eating our ice cream and people walking by were admiring our cones and decided to stop in and get some of their own. You should too.

Ice cream is fresh and always ready when wanted, prices are not up front for toppings so be aware. Partner was pointed that toppings cost extra but when I put toppings on mine, they did not tell me. And because of my partner being Japanese, she felt she was targeted as she was the only one who was directed about it while others were doing it without being notified. If the toppings are an extra charge, they need to serve it behind the counter and not up front, for anyone to pick up. Don’t think we will be coming back.
