Shogun Restaurant

First off, this location is small. People waiting outside, waiting in the hallway. I’ve seen a walk in closet in a house in Texas larger than the size of this lobby. We waited 45 min past our reservation time. Since I used to be a server where I ran all my own items for 4 tables at a time. From the drinks to the appetizers to the entrees to the desserts. I’m gonna give my honest review on our waitress. Once we were sat, our waitress had the person in front of her hand almost everything she brought to the table down to the next person so she didn’t have to walk around the table. We had to ask for our refills, she forgot some of the things we asked for. The chef was great, the food was delicious. I was delighted to find out that we all get noodles now also surprised to see more items include

It was absolutely amazing our cook was great, and we were stunned by the quickness of our servers, Our drinks were never below half full. We had a great time, and i got the steak and chicken it was so good. I like the style in which they cook for you. The fried rice is delicious and a must-have if you go to shogun. Would recommend.

Our first time going and we weren’t disappointed. I have a chicken allergy and they were able to accommodate without issue. I got the shrimp and my husband got steak and shrimp. We each got a drink and everything was good. Chef & waitress were very attentive. The restaurant could use a bit of updating. We were there during the dinner rush and the ladies bathroom could have used some attention. All and all, good experience. We’ll be back.

Cool spot just like Benihana, much smaller than la verne. This time the show was sadly a bit comedic for us with few errors from the cook, It happens. But I wish this place had more of a selection of IPAS, would boost it up for me in that aspect since I love craft beer. Thank you Manager ALE, what a professional young lady, she was on fire up and down for doing a night alone. Was also nice enough to give us a discount because of a long waiting period + cooks errors. Thanks again for the nice gesture.
