Shirley's Restaurant

Great local restaurant, we went for breakfast it was delicious. Prices are great and portions were perfect. Coffee tasted great. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. Nice cozy restaurant with comfort food. We will definitely be back.

Always somebody would explain to these people what country cooking is.. scrambled eggs are supposed to be scrambled. They consist on frying an egg and then cutting them with a spatula. It's just not scrambled pretty bad when you advertise country cooking at its best and you serve crap

My favorite mom and pop restaurant in Lake City!! You've definitely gotta go there! You won't be disappointed.

I recently visited Shirley's Restaurant at 746 E Duval St, in Lake City, FL. I enjoyed my meal of bacon, eggs, grits, and a biscuit. Well cooked as ordered. The service was very good and I enjoyed my time spent there. Worth a visit

The best thing about Shirley's was the sweet waitress. Breakfast prices are reasonable, and they give a cash discount. The coffee was good and hot. The hash browns were above average - crispy, fresh potatoes. The grits would have been good except for the large, gooey lump in them. The cheese omelette looked good but was runny inside - not cooked long enough. The bathroom was as filthy as a rural gas station's. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned since last summer.
