Shipley Do-Nuts of McKinney

I love getting donuts from this location first thing in the morning! The donuts are delicious. Nothing beats a Shipley's strawberry and cherry donut. The staff is so nice and smiley. Perfect way to start the day.

Shipley Donuts of McKinney is great! They have friendly workers who are willing to accommodate their customers, regardless if it’s they just opened at 5am or at the end of the day before closing. I will definitely be back to this location and recommend anyone in the area looking for great kuhlahchees and donuts to come out as well.

Maybe my expectations were too high, and admittedly I grabbed a dozen a half hour prior to closing so it wasn't the freshest batch, but I was pretty disappointed and surprisingly even my toddlers said they didn't like it (and they love any donuts!!). For the price I was definitely expecting better - maybe I'll grab one during the day to see if there's any difference because the high ratings don't really make sense based on my experience. I had the glazed, Boston cream, chocolate frosted with coconut sprinkles, and an iced coffee - which tasted like it came pre-made out of a machine ...couldn't tell for sure because I ordered via drive thru (which is a nice bonus)

Workers are super kind and I love the seating area because the wall to the kitchen is transparent and you get to see how they make the donuts!

Shipley’s is always a win. Donuts are fresh and soft every time, and the glazed ones are especially good. Kolaches are warm and filling, perfect for a quick breakfast. Service is quick and friendly, even when it’s busy. Solid spot whenever you’re in the mood for donuts.
