Shepherds Inn

Shepher'ds Inn Bed & Breakfast is a gem in the country. The rooms are quaint and period decorated. Each room has a private bathroom and shower. We were able to enjoy the sounds and sights of nature during our stay. We utilized the hot tub after dark and the light show from the lightning bugs was amazing! The homemade breakfast was served by Butler Don. The food was delicious and the conversation delightful. We will definitely return to this B&B!

I absolutely love this bed and breakfast. So much warmth and hospitality. The house is kept very clean and has so much character. The food was amazing and they were more then happy to accommodate my specific nutrition needs, not to mention the coffee they serve is the best. It's so relaxing and the grounds are beautiful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I can't wait to go back next year.

Don and Doris are the highlight of this beautiful bed and breakfast. Doris was so gracious and welcoming when I called the day before we hoped to stay. Upon arrival, it was fun to receive a tour of the home, the gift shop, and the HOT TUB! Also, as she learned I was visiting to see Ord and the area, she was so helpful to find the phone number of a contact to help me learn more about Evelyn Sharp, a famous woman pilot who is from Ord. We loved the turndown service with the cutest holiday themed Ghiradelli Chocolates as well as the appearance of chocolate drizzled popcorn when we returned home from our evening adventures. In the morning, Don was so dapper dressed up and ready to help Doris serve us the most delicious omelet, hash browns and toast breakfast with a variety of homemade jel

This was my first experience with a Bed and Breakfast and I could not have been more pleasantly surprised from start to finish. It is a beautiful, cozy farm house located a few miles west of Ord, surrounded by trees, gardens, and wildlife. Peaceful, serene, beautiful...and the hosts, Doris and Don Vancura, are incredibly gracious. I loved spending the early evening hours on the front porch watching the birds flit from the feeders to the trees and back again. The breakfasts were delicious and the conversation was just the right way to start each morning before heading to my work for the day. This is a gem and I hope to have an opportunity for a repeat visit.

The stars of this B&B are Don and Doris. They are the epitome of graciousness. We so enjoyed talking with them and the breakfast was delicious! There is a cute little gift shop where you can buy treasures to take home. We bought the plum jelly. Don dresses up like a butler to serve your breakfast.
