Shells Seafood - St Pete Beach

Have been coming to this location for many years for their Infamous Shrimp Pasta and this was the very first time being “underwhelmed” with the signature dish. The shrimp didn’t seem much larger than salad shrimp being the first visual note and the color of the Alfredo Sauce had a darker brownish tint to it and while didn’t taste bad wasn’t the normally FANTASTIC flavor that keeps bringing me back. Normally when getting this “Signature Dish” I usually wonder why I waited so long to re-visit them as it is THAT GOOD! This time after the first bite was actually a little disappointed. I normally use the fork to cut the jumbo shrimp in half but not this time. The small shrimp were a little rubbery as if slightly overcooked. Great food with great service! The portions are generous and the prices are still very reasonable for the location. Would definitely come back here again if I were in the area.

Great soup find!The clam chowder was thick with clams and a delicious find. The lobster bisque was creamy and buttery with chunks of lobster throughout. Bang boom Shrimp tacos were spicy and delicious. We enjoyed the crispy flour tortillas they are served in.
