Shawnee Station

Nice little diner type place. Atmosphere is a quaint diner type place. The staff was very friendly and the visit was fun, We stopped here for a late lunch. My wife had the hot ham and cheese, and I had a fried bologna sandwich. Both were good. Overall, it was a great little to have some good food.

First time customer, went in and seated myself. I would say the restaurant was at a fourth of capacity but had quick and friendly service from the young man at the bar. I ordered a burger which came out quickly and was delicious, price to upgrade to fries is a little much, but everything else was fantastic, will go again.

Every time we have eaten here the food has been fantastic!! My sister comes from DeGraff to visit and we always eat here. I also visit with my grandson. We’ve had breakfast and lunch. Never gotten an un satisfactory meal. Prices are reasonable. My favorite is their Rueben but the Tenderloin is great too. I tried the burger the other day and it was cooked the way I asked. And finally those Brussels sprouts are divine. Haha.

I don't have anything bad say about this place. The service was good and the food was done perfectly. The tots had a nice crisp. 😋

Ik from Toledo, where every restaurant sells a rueben. So living in Lima is hard when every restaurant sells deli corn beef and passes it as rueben 🤦🏾‍♀️ but Shawnee station has real homemade corn beef. I loved the rueben. The only thing I can say about it is, I wish it wasn't chopped because it kept falling of the sandwich. But that's an easy fix with extra cheese. It was delicious and so was the chili I will be back
