The service and food was excellent. The price is decent for the quality of the authenticity of the food. They have original flavorful tastes and classic dishes. The chicken shawarma gyro was missing a side of pickles or tomato cut up but overall very very delicious. The size of the portions are reasonable for the price. I would recommend a male worker come outside to check on the customers sitting on the patio areas because there are transients outside that make sitting out there uncomfortable. The one man had a stick hitting the ground very aggressively in the parking lot of shell. And another wondered into the patio area shirtless and stood in the fartherest corner acting possessed talking to himself. It didn't bother me so much because I'm from here and that just regular but for new peo

📍Shawarma Stop, Houston, TX (Hermann Park) Chicken shawarma arabi - 8/10 - Pretty good but decent, could use more flavor🌯 Baked chicken - 7/10 - Very tender🍗 but was missing something, probably needed more seasoning Beef skewer kabob - 6.5/10 - Had flavor but was a bit dry Hummus - 8.5/10 - Creamy and smooth with a good amount of chickpea flavor Fattoush salad - 7/10 - A little too minty but still refreshing 🥗 I love shawarmas so I was excited to try out another shawarma spot in the area! Overall this spot was decent to me. I think the food needs more flavorful and the meat could also be cooked better.

I visited Shawarma Stop on a recent work trip to Houston, and overall had a pretty good experience. The atmosphere inside is great — modern, relaxed, and very clean, which I appreciated right away. I ordered the Arabian Chicken Shawarma sandwich, and while it was decent, it felt like it was missing some seasoning and could’ve had a bit more flavor. The dolma, on the other hand, was really good and one of the highlights of the meal. The tzatziki was okay, but similar to the shawarma, it was a little bland for my taste. I finished with the baklava, which was excellent — fresh, sweet, and definitely worth trying. Overall, Shawarma Stop has a great vibe and solid food, with a few dishes that could use a little more seasoning. I'd still go back, especially for the dolma and baklava.

The place was empty, now I know why. Food was incredibly over priced for being as bad as it was. The shawarma sandwich combo was terrible. The fries were soggy, they forgot my drink nor did the cashier offer. The baclava were stale and soggy. The guy at the counter seemed clueless. I spent almost $50 for food I had to throw away. Save your money, if you really really need a bite just go to the gas station next door. It's not worth the hassle. Going hungry after spending $50 on food is demoralizing.

I was excited to finally try out this place after passing by it so many times. It is located next to a Shell gas station in its own section. I ordered a falafel sandwich instead of a combo since it would have been about $17.50 without taxes. Once I got it, instead of using pita bread, they used a flour tortilla. It wasn't a bad substitute, but it tells you about how much they actually care about authenticity or their food. Once I got it, instead of the falafel I ordered, it was made with gyro. I went to the cashier who merely replied it would take another 10 minutes to get the right one. No apologies, not even a simple, "sorry for the mistake." After finally giving it a chance, I don't think I will return. These kinds of prices and lack of quality or service is the reason why fewer peo
