This place is fantastic! It’s a small restaurant on a Main Street and counter service. However, the restaurant itself was accommodating and felt very clean and inviting. The menu was large and had some great dishes. I ended up ordering the mango milk tea and the spicy pork bibimbap. My food take a little longer than my partner’s to come out which always leads to that awkward “should I start or not?” question. Thankfully it didn’t take too much longer for my food to come out. The milk tea tasted great! Very refreshing and not overly sweet. I wish there a little bit more mango flavor but it was by no means bad. The real star of the show was the bibimbap. The portions were large and all of the food tasted fresh, very flavorful, and came out hot. Although the restaurant seemed unassuming thi
It was our first visit! We accidentally placed the wrong order at first, but when we asked if it was possible to change it, the staff handled everything so kindly and smoothly. From taking our order to the moment we finished our meal and left, they never once lost their kind and attentive attitude. The service was truly professional! Food was also really great. It wasn’t overly salty or spicy. it was clean, comforting, and deeply flavorful, the kind of Korean food that feels well balanced and thoughtfully made. (Even in Boston!) We’ve tried several Korean restaurants in the area, and I can confidently say this one stands out as one of the best, both in taste and services. Highly recommended.
It was the first time for us trying Korean food and we weren't dissapointed. We found this place casually, looking online while being in the area. We took an apetizer Crispy Seaweed Noodle Rolls, the Kimchi Stew, the Chicken Katsu and the Bulgogi Bibimbap. To drink we took a water and a Fruity Passion Tea with mango boba pearls. The apetizer was interesting, but unusual, definitely an acquired taste with the tansparent noodle, but I liked that it was light despite being fried. The Chicken Katsu was really good, fried and crunchy and savory without adding any souces to it, but even better with one. The Kimchi Stew was delicios, hot like lava initially, so you have to give it a moment, but it was very flavourful and less spicy that I was expecting, which is a plus for me as I don't eat su
I had the kimchi stew and absolutely loved it! So much flavor and a hearty portion. The staff is very friendly, while ordering the via the QR codes on the table is a great way to browse the menu. The interior is very clean and modern with large dining tables. Definitely recommend!
Good option for fast casual Korean food. MSG. Many Korean restaurants in Boston tend to shy away from using too much of it, likely due to its negative perception in Korea. The result? Fast-casual Korean dishes often lean heavily on sugar, which leads to a sweeter taste that doesn’t quite match up with their authentic counterparts. Sharon Korean Kitchen isn’t the first place I’ve noticed using MSG, but here, it was unmistakably in the spotlight. While some light appetizers, like dumplings and crispy seaweed noodle rolls, come pre-made, most of the dishes—especially the meats—had a noticeable MSG presence that was hard to miss. So far, I’ve tried their Kimchi fried rice, spicy beef soup, beef short rib soup, and the bulgogi bibimbap. Aside from the bulgogi, every dish delivered a crazy uma
