Sharky's Bagels

Visiting family in Jersey this summer, we were looking for a good Smoked Salmon bagel to take on the plane back to California. We had visited this place at the end of August and it was good. But coming back in September we thought to go again to have decent food on our way back home. No airport food for us and as you can see the pictures tell the whole story. I did call back to tell them about the burnt uneven messy sandwich and their attitude was horrible. They stood by their product. When visiting again, we'll Never go back. They didn't even apologize.

Didn’t taste terrible but not impressive either. They were nice! Got a pork roll egg and cheese on a plain bagel. pic attached is what it looked like, pretty skimpy small size bagel with one slice of pork roll and it was like $9. Bagel itself was flat and mid, egg was decent, pork roll mid and cheese undetectable? Wouldn’t come again, there are better spots especially around central jersey area. Maybe this wasn’t their specialty but then again the bagel itself was mid so not sure how much better anything else would have been. Also got the blueberry bagel and lox+bagel and those were mediocre too

BEST BAGEL SHOP IN THE AREA, HANDS DOWN! You wont find no other bagel place with the same quality as Sharkys. These bagels just have more flavor than other local shops. Been going here for years and always recommend out of towners to come stop by if in need of some bagels. Fair warning this place is always packed so give yourself some time, but its well worth the wait.

Sharky's are a must go. The bagel is crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. The sandwiches are delicious as well, but do yourself a favor and get double meat.
