Shannon's Sub Shop II

Traveling through for work, and stop to grab some lunch, and I'm glad I did! Friendly staff and the sub was excellent! Good amount of meat and cheese and the freshest veggies, and nice thick slices of tomato! Will definitely stop again next time I'm in the area!

We stopped by for breakfast on a Saturday morning. There were 3 other tables seated and 2 of them had food already. We got coffee and placed our order. There appeared to be 3 people preparing food and 1 server. While we waited, another table had seated, ordered food and shortly later were served. I guess the server noticed we were a little disappointed and said You're food will be out next. About 5 minutes later our food arrived. It seemed to have been done for some time since everything was room temperature and had it been warmer, I think it would have been pretty good.

My neighbor told me about this place and I am so glad to that I tried it. I got an excellent cheese steak and it's delicious. It is so large that it will easily last 2 days because I can't eat the whole thing. The atmosphere is very down home and the ladies that work there are very friendly. I will be going to this place alot . Everything is good here.

Good sandwich shop, unless you are vegetarian. Steer clear of the veggie sandwich: It's basically a sub with just the fixings (lettuce, tomato, onions, sweet/hot peppers) and no filling. If you're expecting some roasted vegetables, or something similar, you're out of luck.
