Shanghai Lily

Dishes I ordered were okay, but I wouldn't go back to try something else b/c the server was so rude. It was a weird time of day to eat lunch, around 2:00 p.m. on a Friday and it wasn't busy at all. One is able to access the patio without actually going inside the restaurant but we obviously went inside to let them know we were there, ask to be seated, etc. just like one would do at any other restaurant. This server looked very put out by us coming in and actually asking to sit down and instead of taking us out and seating us or telling us to go ahead and sit down and bringing us menus, she just grudgingly handed me a menu as I was standing at the hostess stand so I had to decide on the spot what I wanted instead of sitting down and reviewing it like a normal person at a sit-down restaurant

Mmm so good! I’m picky about Chinese food. I get grossed out by weird texture chicken but I’m always satisfied here. I place to go orders often and the gentleman is always kind and professional and food is great

The Mala String Bean with Chicken was Outstanding!!! The Spring Rolls were very good, but the Hot & Sour Soup tasted like it had been re-warmed a few too many times… Honestly, I’d have to give this place a 4.5 if google-maps would allow that, because there are some better Asian restaurants within 5 minutes of here…, But, the Shanghai Lily is MUCH better than most other Asian restaurants in this price-range. And THANK-YOU Very Much !!! to the proprietor who took the time to walk me through the Apple-Pay Set-Up process, and didn’t just refuse to serve me when I told him I left my wallet at home !!! 🤩🥳😁

Plan to eat here and luck will have it your food will be good!!! Wonderful dine in experience. Great atmosphere and wonderful service. I had an extra spicy plate that did not disappoint. Try the non filtered sake!! It’s the real deal! I will definitely be back!
