The bread that the sandwiches are made on are absolutely awesome. They are from Alpine bakery. We enjoyed the Shamu's Favorite as well as the French Dip that they only offer in winter months. The Tuscan meatball white bean soup was salty and tasted store-bought. We would definitely go back but not for the soup.
Based on the experience I had, I wouldn't go back. I had been really excited about eating here, partially because several co-workers told me it was their favorite sandwich place, and also because it's within walking distance of where I live. There were positives, like that the food came out so quickly, and the inside of the building is aesthetically pleasing. My boyfriend and I wanted to get food somewhere we could sit down, and some place we hadn't tried yet. The atmosphere upon entering was oddly unwelcoming. The man taking orders at the counter seemed incredibly annoyed so we chose to get our order to go. When the order was ready, the girl who handed me the food also seemed very annoyed. I was happy at the time that at least the food was so quick, but upon getting home I realized why.
Stopped in here for the first time. I was not disappointed! I tried “The Rancher” sandwich, they said it’s their best seller. It was pretty good. Very fresh bread and ingredients. They said they make their breads fresh every day. All their sandwiches are cold. You get a pickle spear and chips with your sandwich. I will definitely go back to try the other sandwiches. Staff were friendly and had answers for all questions.
Great sandwiches, great service, great selection. Not only great sandwiches, but soup too! Love the kettle chips and kosher dill pickle that comes with your sandwich.. They never look at me as if I am crazy for replacing the rye bread with French and gladly put my sauerkraut and Swiss cheese on the side. Order a whole, have half for lunch and half for dinner!!!! They aim to please!
If you love bread...and don't we all. This the place for you! .Bread slices are exceptionally think with lots of processed meats and cheeses slipped in between. Wonderful sports memorabilia from way back; I bet these brothers watch Sunday football while wearing their high school foot ball jerseys. Suggestion: Add a tortilla option rather than all the bread carbohydrates; a wrap or something would be a very attractive menu option with a shelf life much better than processed bread. Just a thought. To much bread for me but hey...this is Spokane right?
