We are visiting the Island with my BoyScout Troop and after a long day clearing trails/ building benches for one of our Scouts Eagle Projects we needed something good to eat and came across this place one of our adult leader who comes here all the time. I had a Bison Burger with maple syrup wings and it was amazing, delicious and the service we had with 8 kids was respectfully amazing. Thank You to the waitress who got us a discount on our meal. The overall experience and environment was really nice with deer heads on the walls. I highly recommend stopping by for some dinner or drink!!
I can't attest to the alcohol selection but I went here for dinner with my family, server was very nice but didn't check on us a whole lot, food was pretty decent, not my fav on the island but definitely filling. My boyfriend got the mushroom Swiss burger and gave it a 2/5, unseasoned but still yummy. I got the grilled cheese with no onion. Quite good, served with a side of chips. Wasn't a fan of the jam that comes with it but still pretty good.
A great place to eat and drink on Beaver Island. The weather was nice enough to eat on the outdoor patio. Try the bone-in Honey Sriracha chicken wings. Best tasting wings I’ve ever eaten!
The fried green beans were excellent, the clam chowder was surprisingly enjoyable, and the side salad was fresh and satisfying. Unfortunately, the fish Reuben was a complete misstep. The sandwich featured blackened whitefish served with the skin still on, which was both unexpected and unappealing. The portion of fish was thin to the point of being nearly undetectable, its flavor completely lost beneath an overwhelming layer of coleslaw. At times, it was difficult even to tell that fish was present in the sandwich at all. In contrast, the fish and chips were well-prepared and delicious, highlighting how the Reuben could be so much better if made with a crisp piece of fried fish instead. I would gladly return for other dishes, but I would avoid the fish Reuben entirely.
Burger is terrible, ordered medium well and all sorts of red and no flavor, and barely warm. Bartender acted irritated as I was asking what local drink choices were available. Excessive long wait and no one in there (and I see why) Limited, lousy beer selection. Don't see who would recommend this place. Pizza and Shammy bread is halfway decent.
