Shamrock Hill

I can't say enough good things about our experience at Shamrock Hill. The home was absolutely beautiful! The bedrooms were very comfortable. Each bedroom having its own full bathroom was a huge bonus. Not to mention the golf simulator room just a few steps from the back door. It was absolutely the perfect place to stay for our group of 8 golfers. We played 4 fantastic golf courses all within 30 minutes of the home. The owner of the home, Willie Downs could not of been more accommodating. We are already looking to book something for next fall.

We stayed at Shamrock Hill on a buddies golf trip to the area. (Note: We reserved the house and golf through the Royal New Kent golf course site - the staff did a great job of getting multiple courses with desired tee times and replay rounds scheduled - first class!). The house was perfect for our group - but could accommodate many more. Plenty of social space, pool table, poker tables, and the golf simulator area (with bathroom and kitchen facilities) was perfect for evenings and a particularly rainy day. The home host stayed in contact and was attentive to our arrival, stay, and departure. All together this made our trip easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. We will definitely keep this in our trip rotation.

Amazingly spacious and relaxing place to stay in a highly underrated golf destination. The team took amazing care of my crew both in the stay and in the golf lineup. Wish we could've stayed longer! Plenty of room for our four and would've been great for more, too.

Such an incredible value for the quality of the house and location. Huge property - house has plenty of space for a big group so for the 4 of us that stayed there together, it felt like a mansion. Felt like we kept discovering new things for the first 30 minutes - poker table, pool table, big library...pretty amazing. Pictures don't do the simulator justice - it's a separate building on the property with a kitchenette and bathroom, and super high ceilings, plenty of room for a group in there. We stayed in March so the pool wasn't open but can't imagine a better spot for a guys weekend playing Royal New Kent and the surrounding area. Huge thanks to Tim at RNK for arranging everything.

House was amazing and comfortably fit 8 golfers. Rooms were clean, everyone slept well in their beds, kitchen was big and allowed us to cook breakfast. Simulator was a ton of fun. Have used a lot of sims with cheaper technology but this one was great. Had a lot of games and competitions we could set up for all 8 of us. Super close to RNK, brickshire and vinaterra. Dinner at nearby don miguel was a bonus :) To top it off, owner was super communicative all weekend and addressed any questions we had. Just a perfect golf trip experience!
