Shamokin Bed and Breakfast

This renovations that have been completed on this 1883 mansion are lovely. There are more planned projects in progress and with Sharon the Property Manager's eagerness & enthusiasm, we can't wait to visit again. We like her ideas & style and the heart & soul she is putting into her new venture. She was so informative about the history and shared stories with us which were very interesting. Her team was friendly and they keep the place spotless. We highly recommend staying here and the best part, it is only 10 minutes from Knoebels. Thank you for the hospitality. Helen & Ken

We stayed for two nights and really loved it! It’s a 15-minute drive to knoebels from the B&B, which is why we were there, but Shamokin is also very picturesque and it looked like there were a lot of cute shops, bars and restaurants to explore on the Main Street where the B&B is located. We arrived late and had no problems with check in using the access codes and directions provided the day of our arrival. Parking is also very easy and free. There are lots of spaces on Main St right in front of the place to use while you unload. You can’t park overnight on Main St but all side streets seem to be fair game, and there is one about 25 feet past the inn that we turned into. The room was fully stocked with extra towels and everything you might need - we actually never even saw a host or other g

Best couples and family vacations hotel out there. It is owned by a small business owner a nice senior citizen lady and her male friend. They really have outdid themselves with the layout of the bedrooms, excellent customer service and there is a lot to do around this particular bed and breakfast. I would rate them a 10+ if I could. This place was amazing! I didn’t expect much for a last minute reservation in a run down PA town, but this place was better than any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The restoration was true to its original 19th century form while still providing modern luxuries. The art work and ambience were incredible. Like a trip back in time.

Absolutely amazing place! We stayed with children and were very impressed by this place! Firstly, it is very clean and cozy. But what an atmosphere there!!! It is something amazing and incredible! It felt like you were in a museum, you could walk for a long time and study the interior details! Both adults and children were absolutely delighted! We are going to go back there one day again! I want to enjoy this place again!
