Shaler North Hills Library

Excellent library! Fun to explore. Awesome children’s area and even a few seperate areas for kids to hang out and play board games. Good librarians. Great assortment of kids books! Parking lot is nice as well. Nothing bad to say!

An amazing library that is very community oriented. The staff are friendly and very helpful! The library has a large selection of books, videos, audio books, and computers to work on. There is plenty of parking and many events that are held at the library. A safe and fun play to take your children to explore.

Favorite location north of pittsburgh! This location has one of the bigger kids sections with 75% of the second floor being all kids. They do lots of community events throughout the week and the staff has always been great here

This is my absolute favorite library. It really is a beautiful community. The staff are all wonderful and the sheer amount of (free!) events happening every single day for kids and adults alike is astounding. This is a place where everyone really cares about you. The selection of books is great, there are public access computers, there's plenty of cozy places to sit, the building is beautiful and holds many old secrets, there is a HUGE play area for children, and the general decor and feeling of home is wonderful. This is a beautiful place and I love it.
