Shady's Long Shots

Shadys is our go to. My husband visits this Shadys location frequently for the golf course. I visit frequently for the food and customer service. We have also ordered take-out from this location and have never been disappointed. It occasionally takes a little longer for food but it always comes out hot and as ordered.

Had some Street tacos (walleye) that were pretty tasty. I think they need to work on the slaw and sauce a bit though. Chicken strip basket is large and the fries are delicious. Price for quantity is great. Tap beers were good. The only thing that was a little ish was that salad bar. The lettuce was real sad and nothing was that chilled. Will return for sure. It was a good experience.

If you value decent service and food, font bother going here. For the first time in my life (50ish year) I left zero tip. We had 3 people eating with us that are or have been servers and they all agreed. Never have I had a service experience that literally failed at every level. Including a waitress that never even acknowledged it or apologized. Amazingly bad. we were there Sunday evening ( June 1st) , arrived at 5, please was maybe half full. Sat on screen porch area. Other tables that came after us, but seemed to maybe have 'regulars' received their food and drinks well before us and many more check ins.

Stopped in on a Friday around 5pm. The place was packed but we found a empty table and the bartender came to our table and took drink orders within the first minute or so. Food came out rather quickly for how busy it was. Food was great. This was our first visit to Shady's and we will be back.

Lovely place on the lake front. Delicious patty melt and onion rings. Great service from Sam. Sat in a patio on the golf course side - much quieter than inside.
