Shadow 66

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A true gem — worth every penny Shadow 66 (formerly Le Gamin) is an absolutely beautiful restaurant and remains my favorite place to dine. I go there as often as I can, and it is truly worth every penny. This is a family-run restaurant, led by a husband, wife, and their son — and it shows in every detail. The husband is the chef, and the food is exceptional and unlike anything else: creative, exclusive, and beautifully presented. Every dish feels thoughtful, intentional, and made with pride. This is not just a meal — it’s an experience. If you appreciate outstanding food, artistry, and the heart that comes from a family-run kitchen, Shadow 66 is an absolute must.

We have been there for both dinner and brunch, both were really good. I got the braised beef in red wine, this was a huge pot of stew and was very good, my husband had the hanger steak and he typically doesn't like sauce on his steak, but he tried it and he really liked it. We also went for brunch, and had the Croque Madame and eggs Benedict with bacon and a croissant. Everything was very good.

This is one of the coolest restaurants I’ve been to located in the middle of nowhere New York. The food was amazing ! Best French fries I’ve ever had French toast amazing. And the coolest Collection of antique European cars and signs and memorabilia all over reasonable prices. On real food

We had the most wonderful brunch today at Shadow 66! A few years back, we used to visit their downtown Hudson location, and this new spot is even more impressive. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and full of charm — decorated with antique pieces and even two vintage Citroën cars that give the place so much character. The food was absolutely incredible. We tried the Souvenir and the 66 Burger, both packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. For dessert, the caramelized apple crêpe was simply perfection — the best way to end our meal. The combination of delicious food, unique décor, and welcoming vibe makes Shadow 66 a true gem. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

The garage and Citroen themed restaurant was memorable — the food and service outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed everything but the mushroom soup, salad (and dressing), and onglet steak are courses I would go out of my way to have again. We will return next time we are in the Hudson area.
