Seymour Library

Like many travelers, my family tends to go to cultural attractions that absorb the local vibes of their patrons. It's a hidden gem to be able to go to attractions that are both free and easily accessible. Libraries customarily fit the bill exactly. This library is exceptional in its its friendliness, ease of navigation, and proximity to other attractions. Within walking distance of many of the historical homes and monuments Auburn is known for, it's worthwhile just to go there, rest, and absorb the breath of fresh air of being surrounded by resource materials, helpful staff persons, wonderful sojourners from near and far.

This library is a real gem. The historic building is beautiful, and inside it's clean, bright, and welcoming. I've visited three times now and have been surprised to find it nearly empty each time - it deserves more visitors! I appreciate the caregiver kits available for checkout. As someone caring for a mother with dementia, I've found their activity kits incredibly helpful. They give us new ways to spend time together and really help keep my mom engaged and happy. The librarians are knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to help when needed. The whole place has a comfortable, inviting feeling that makes you want to stay and browse. If you're looking for a peaceful place to read or need specialized resources like the caregiver kits, I highly recommend checking this library out.

We absolutely love this library. The kids are in love with the new children section. So bright and inviting. Great staff which is a huge plus, they're always so willing to help and direct us to our desired books!!

Fabulous library, hostorical architecture yet modern conveniences such as computers and free wifi inside the building. A lovely fireplace graces the end of the building and a lovely sitting room with comfortable couches for a nice sit and read session. Chdrens area available but I didnt review that. Enjoying the high ceilings and doors and architecture is as nice as can be.

The Seymour library is great. Helpful and wonderful staff and if they don't have what you want, they will get it. Highly recommended!!!
