Customer Reviews
It was a year or so back, but we had a fantastic experience. We had to pretty much the run of the mansion because it was a slow season things you go in the night there so you better watch it and be ready for it. We had a blast my husband and I we’ve been had a local psychic come and give us a reading To add to the mystery. It’s like passing Through time all the rooms were decorated with individual cultures and time.period s. I would give this place a go.
When we decided to go to Ocala, we didn't want to stay in a typical hotel so a little research provided this great Bed and Breakfast. Situated in the historic district, the Inn is well kept and very quiet,(except for the occasional ghosts!!) Known for it spiritual activity if you like that kind of thing this is just an added benefit. Each of the suites is decorated in a different theme. We stayed in the Madrid suite because of the working fireplace, in room Jacuzzi and the beautiful canopy bed. Bob the owner is a great host and an excellent cook for the breakfast as well. This is one of the nicest B&B's we have ever stayed in and we will definitely be going back.
We stayed at this mini-hotel for two nights during our visit to Ocala(Casablanca Suite) The room was very clean, brightly decorated, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Excellent location, just a 10-minute walk to the center of Ocala. Robert is an attentive and pleasant host. We hope to return again!
My wife and I with two friends stayed for two nights in the Cairo and Casablanca suites. Both rooms have very interesting artifacts. We only heard the ghosts one night--Could it have been Bob our host ghost? Seriously the home was beautiful, food was delicious, and I would put it down as an amazing B&B. You should stay there. Also take the Ocala Horse Farm Tour. It was really informative and well work the cost.
Spent a night at this charming B&B located in the historic section of Ocala. Each room is themed with over-the-top decor which made it an other-worldly experience. We chose the Cairo suite and weren't spooked by the life-sized replica of King Tut's sarcophagus looming over the bed. This is supposed to be a haunted property but we were either too tired to hear any activity or perhaps, not of interest to the property's specters. The host was congenial and provided complimentary wine, sherry and cookies. Breakfast was prepared to order and sent us on our way with nice memories of a night in Central Florida.
