Serena Inn & Suites- Sundance

We ended up here after our original booked accommodation did not meet our expectations. The staff member was friendly on the phone when I called to see if they had vacancy. We were able to check in quickly and quite surprised how large our room was. Although an older establishment the room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good, they were out of most of the refrigerated items but we were there off season during the week. I enjoyed a bagel with cream cheese and saw other guests enjoying the biscuits and gravy. The waffles smelled great too!

Pros: Clean spacious room, quiet, lots of parking, good swimming pool Cons: Called 2 days prior to our reservation to confirm that the hot tub and pool were working. We were assured both were in working order. Pretty much the only reason we picked this place over others was having a hot tub as its the middle of winter. Upon arrival found a bone dry hot tub with dried flies in the bottom so it clearly hasn't been filled in some time. Did not appreciate being assured there was a hot tub and find this. Breakfast was as expected for a hotel, can't go wrong with waffles though not having cold water or any other cool drink was a bit of the turn off.

Positive: The 2 workers that helped us. Negative: The TV did not work well. The quality of the towels were cheap. The tolit was not cleaned well. The sofa needed to be vacuumed better.The breakfast was bleak. My husband looked to see if there was any bananas, nope, and not much there he would eat.

Very clean place over-all. Hot tub wasn't working/filled but the pool was great! Decent breakfast. All at a very good deal/affordable price. Thank you!

Very quiet, smelled so nice, really clean snow white bedding and towels, very comfy mattress. fantastic free breakfast with items for food allergies, biscuits and gravy, crispy waffles, fresh fruit. The usual but just much better than other places . We stayed at so many hotels and motels in the budget category. This was a real stand out. It's not new and shows a little wear, but it really is a great value, Ken, the owner is so nice He helped us with a big reservation problem. We highly recommend it.
