Seoul Bite

We finally made it to Seoul Bite, and let me save you the suspense: this place is a kosher plot twist in the best possible way. We basically took the “yes” approach and ordered almost everything. Half-and-half wings (soy garlic and sweet & spicy), crispy, sticky, dangerous. Bibimbap that actually felt soulful. Kimchi bokkeum bap with that deep, fermented umami kick. Pajeon that disappeared faster than I’d like to admit. Jap-chae dupbap, buldak with real heat, tteokbokki that made me smile, and even the miso soup was fun. Here’s the thing: this isn’t just good for kosher. It’s good. Period. The flavors are bold, unfamiliar (in the best way), and totally different from the usual kosher rotation. Great spot for a double date. Literally feels like I’ve been transported to Korea. The food was soo flavorful and tastes even better than how it looks. The tteokbokki was so yummy— I enjoyed every bite and the spice level was absolutely spot on. I especially liked that by adding a few dollars you can get a whole set with the plate you desire and it comes with another side and complimentary drink. Legit the best spot ever!! I will definitely be back. 1,000/10 MOST recommended!!

Ordered 2 versions of wings (original and sweet and spicy), Tteokboki, and Buldak. Wings were good. Sweet and spicy were more sweet. I wish it had more sauce. Tteokboki was okay. We thought the red cabbage added a weird flavor. Buldak the chicken was slightly overcooked. The sauce, veggies, and rice were excellent. For Kosher Korean, this is really good.

Not authentic at all. You taste fake ingredients. I otder the chicken tenders that tasted like osem consomme on top of that they put an uneven coat of sauce that it was just too much and made it impossible to finish the first chicken tender. Then we got a bowl white rice and chicken called buldak overly spicy and too much sauce, so much that you couldnt see any white rice. Best part of the meal was the fries and the coke. Sorry. I hope you can turn this place into an authentic Korean place. With real ingradients and real flavors. With balance. Good luck.

This was my first experience with this cuisine and it was a wonderful meal. We enjoyed the ganjang chicken and bibimbap. The ganjang chicken and vegetables were delicious and I did like it with a few DROPS of the hot sauce that came with our food. Let me tell you; that stuff is super spicy and if you have a sensitive palette, consider yourselves warned. As delicious as my food was, my husbands food had a huge array of vegetables and such complex flavors, it was really out of this world. I really can’t wait to go back and try many other dishes. My only regret is we didn’t get photos because it was too fragrant and we had To dig in 😋
