Seoul 1979

This is a kind of small and easy to miss place, but the food here was so good! I definitely recommend checking them out! I ordered the pork tonkatsu, dynamite roll, and the dakgangjeong chicken and all three were amazing! The dynamite roll was especially a highlight for me and I would love to come again if I’m in the area and try their street food menu. Also, lovely service here :)

I ordered tteobokki from here to go, and it was quite good! The sauce was kinda different from other tteobokki that I've had in Korea and in America - the one here was more savory and somewhat peppery. The rice cakes were super chewy and good so it really hit the spot for me.

Place was pretty good, food was honestly really good. The huge downside is they use disposable everything. So much plastic waste it was heartbreaking. The bibimbop was really disappointing.

If I could give more stars I would. I drove an hour for this is and it was totally worth it. The food is fantastic, has so much flavor. Service was excellent, I’ll be back for sure. Thank you Seoul 1979!!!

I tried their chicken Gangjeong it was absolutely delicious crispy tangy sweet really good,sushi is also really well made,all in all i would recommend trying it out and i can say that i would definitely revisit soon 5 stars
