Title: Impressive New Spot in K-Town with Exceptional Service This is easily the best restaurant among the newly opened spots in K-Town. The food is incredibly clean and neat. I was particularly impressed by their Pyongyang Naengmyeon (Cold Noodles)—the broth had a deep, rich beef flavor that showed true craftsmanship. Every side dish (banchan) was delicious, and the meat quality was excellent for the price. The set menu ($130 for two) offers great value. What really stood out was the service. The server noticed I was cutting the meat smaller for myself and immediately took over, grilling and cutting it exactly to my preference. A wonderful addition to Ktown. This place has a great selection of delicate yet comforting cold and warm soups, and one of the best, high quality KBBQ selections in town. Great balance of lean meat, fatty cuts and marinated to perfection. Their classic North Korean nengmyung is mild and served with a kelp vinegar that’s refreshing. Their banchan (appetizer side dishes) are seasonal and a great addition to whatever soup or KBBQ selection you get. Their kimchi is a bit more on the mild, watery and lighter side. Would recommend!

Seogwan by Yellowcow KBBQ was an absolute standout. From the first bite, you can taste the difference in quality. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and it’s clear that no shortcuts are taken in the kitchen. Everything feels prepared with care and rooted in tradition, which really allows the flavors to shine. Each dish was beautifully balanced and deeply satisfying, with clean, exquisite flavors that felt both authentic and elevated. My personal favorite was the Korean beef tartare with Asian pear — perfectly seasoned, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and complemented by the subtle sweetness and crunch of the pear. Truly exceptional. The food is delicious, carefully prepared with premium ingredients and served in beautiful Korean dishes. The side dishes are healthy and delicious also, and they're constantly refilled. I recommend the set menu, which includes appetizers, meat, noodles, and a beautiful dessert!

The servers were very polite and attentive. They answered all.of our questions and explained everything that was served and suggestions on how to eat it. They seemed to have a good vibe going with all of their tables. The banchan and galbi were delicious. The water kimchi was ok but prefer the fermented kimchi. We got the lunch combos. A cold noodle with an app. $3 more for upgraded noodles. Still a better deal than ordering them individually. I am not a cold noodle person but they were good. Even better with their soy and seaweed vinegar. They also sell the vinegar at the front. If you go for the BBQ, I suggest going with a group of 4. I can see it getting a little pricey. Ps, the peanut banchan were fire.
