Seminole County Public Library-West Branch

Seminole County residents have free access to computers and internet. Guest pass for non-residents available for $1 an hour. Staff here are friendly, informative and helpful. Library is user friendly, clean and well stocked for its size. Plenty of parking with easy access to the library. Changing traffic light makes getting onto Hunt Club safe and easy.

Easy to locate, close to residence, well staffed, clean, and quiet. Scheduled use of the meeting room with plenty of chairs and tables for our group. Ele tropical meeting utility and screen available. Bring hdmi cable and adapters on first visit to make sure you can connect to screen.

Super peaceful place to read. The library staff is helpful and kind. The children's section is outstanding and they have a good selection of fiction for such a small library. If you don't find what you want at this branch, it can easily be ordered from another Seminole county library branch.

If you're like me, you can't concentrate on reading if there's much if any noise around you. So you go to a library for a quiet spot to read a book. If you're looking for a library for this reason, DO NOT come here. I've been here three times , and each time it's parents with their kids making all the noise they want. Even people without kids do not care, they won't even attempt a whisper when there's clearly people next to them reading. This third time, kids are literally SCREAMING and there's no reaction from librarians. Like I'm in a mall. Maybe I'm in the minority but I thought I could count on a library to be quiet. Honestly I might just be super sensitive to noise and have a concentration problem. I just don't see anyone respecting the fact that it's a library and even attempting

I wish this library was bigger like the location over in Casselberry but this one is closer to me. It is never quiet in this location doesn't matter at time of the day. Whether it's kids or some older gentlemen talking by the newspaper section. It is hard to read and focus here unless you are bringing noise cancelling headphones which I try to do. I normally can never find the books I need but they try to accomodate and order the books I need. But it's just not well stocked and doesn't have up to date material that I need for my school. I use the Libby app to try to listen to audiobooks but selection is so limited. You can also read newspapers online the librarian showed me how through the app. So, sure you might be able to find something here but you will most likely need to order the bo
