5 stars bc of sweet miss pam! She was so pleasant and helpful she provided exceptional service. Delicious food. Got fried whiting which was fried soft for my taste but still very delicious not greasy at all and 3 large pieces yams were very good perfect amount of sweetness and the greens were absolutely to die for i just dont like stems in my greens but the flavor was amazing I highly recommend the greens! I got a half n half but was more like sweet tea to me im used to Baltimore half n halfs but still very good next time im in the area I will have to double back.

Visited this restuarant on OCT 25, 2025. Luckily, I was greeted by Chef Kendall who invited me in and and fixed me the most amazing food!! Not only that, I had the pleasure of talking and getting to know him as a person and pillar of the local community! Outside of the respect I've developed for his love of cooking & great food, I also respect him as an individual, leader, and major contributor to the economic growth in Southern MD, and more...this made the food even more amazing!! Fresh hand cut vegetables, chicken & fish seasoned to perfection, juicy, hot out of the fryer and onto your plate, this is what I enjoyed! Thank you Chef Kendall for your hospitality and sharing you time and talents with me! I wish you the absolute best in all you do and I will be back as a frequent patron 🙌🫶😁

This is the second or third time I have eaten at Selbys. Ms.Pam is always pleasant and nice. Today I meet the owner and he was pleasant and friendly as well. I ordered the 4 wings and candied yams and green beans and it did not disappoint. The wings were so fresh I couldn’t believe it. Food tastes like somebody grandma in the kitchen. The food is awesome and the people are even better. Superbowl party he’s having will be attending.

My husband and I were craving fried fish and were deciding between two different places before choosing this one. I will say right away that the staff was extremely kind and welcoming, which we really appreciated. The customer service was honestly the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to what we were hoping for. The sweet tea tasted like it wasn’t homemade, which was disappointing because that’s usually a staple at places like this. We also ordered both whiting and catfish, and neither one was very good. The fish just didn’t have the flavor or freshness we expected. It was a bit of a letdown because the staff was so friendly and made us feel welcome. I truly wish the food had matched the great customer service.

Stopped by this spot with my husband and our two grown sons, and we all left full and happy. The vibe is super chill with an open layout, friendly energy, and it’s got that sports bar feel with TVs everywhere and sports stuff on the walls. Felt like a place you could hang out for hours. The customer service was great. Everyone was welcoming, and the owner even came out to greet folks, which was a nice touch. Now the food was so good. We tried the catfish with greens, wings and fries, salmon cheesesteak, and jerk wings with baked mac & cheese. The catfish was fried soft but still flavorful, not greasy at all. The mac and cheese tasted like somebody’s grandma made it, seasoned all the way through, not just sprinkled on top (the pic doesn't show seasoning but its flavored well). It’s not th
